I have been a shocking level of useless today this afternoon (I did stuff this morning). Headaches, going hot and cold, sore back/neck, itchy/bleary eyes. Damnit, I don't want to be sick now.

*nods* The flu-ey thing. Not a full-blown, ohmigod-I'm-dying flu, but just enough to feel off colour.

But, instead of sitting here and feeling sorry for myself, I'm gonna go home, get a good night's rest, and try to catch up tomorrow morning.

Huh. That's a sucky virus you've got there, it doesn't know when to quit. There's not a lot you can do, either, except rest and drink lots of water and eat super-sensibly. (And I don't really have that much faith in the eating thing, where is it written that viruses fear doughnuts?) (And the water. What, the virus is going to drown??)

Eh well, hope it'll realise it's not welcome and push off, and you feel better soon.

Here, as in Australia? They already have. Admittedly, they showed it at 2am on a weeknight, but still...
