I love how this fic illustrates one of my favourite things about him and John: despite the fact they're really similar in some ways, the ways they're different are complimentary.

it's terrifying, because he'd have been really good at it, except you wouldn't be able to rid yourself of the suspicion that despite the innocent look, he was secretly using all those skills to do nefarious things.
*sniggers* I think you're right. I mean, not that he actually used those skills for evil, but I'm pretty sure everyone would have suspected him of doing so.
