I looked up after I finished reading this and the snow was coming down hard outside like it was ash from Atlantis. A strangely perfect way to finish the story.

This AU was a fantastic learning experience for me because I struggled to make it *feel* the way it felt to me. Getting the emotional tone right was really, really hard (and I think I only half-succeeded, honestly, but I'm totally thrilled that it made you feel the way it felt to me -- epic and painful and beautiful).
So glad to find that discovering SGA means yet more Annie fic.
And in the true tradition of Annie fic, there's one or two unhappyish endings, and the rest is fluff. *laughs*
