I have a high school friend who's drop-dead gorgeous. And he's slept with a lot of women, and he really never sees it coming, either, because he's not fully aware of how gorgeous he is. But nonetheless, he doesn't turn it down. As he explained to me, sleeping with a lot of beautiful women doesn't make you slutty, it makes you really, really lucky. I figure John sees it the same way.
