I adore this. This hits so many things for me including an unnatural love of ballroom dancing movies. One thing I've noticed about John and Rodney is how well they migrate into AUs - they have such personalities that even removed from their regular settings, they're completely identifiable. Rodney's ability to always say the wrong thing and somehow do the right thing, and John's casual distance from everyone, his willingness to take risks but only so far. I can totally believe that this is them, and there are a number of places I laughed out loud, smiled ridiculously, and generally decided this was one of the best things ever. Love, love, love.
