*nods* Exactly. You start off using your name because you're used to it,a nd then fandom sneaks up on you, and suddenly there's a lot of people who can see your name.
The thing that stopped me changing my pen name before was that my hotmail address was my real name, so no real point to it. Of course, now that I'm using the annieatfanfic101.com, I don't have that excuse.
I have to admit, if it were me, I'd be tempted to chose a pen name. You should open it up to suggestions! *eg*
