Gakked from Bernice (IIBNF)... What do I think of my LJ friends...

Generally, you are all talented and interesting people. It's the kind of friendship that really suits me. I can listen to your thoughts and respond to your ideas without having to say hello every morning. It doesn't matter if it's 5 in the morning, midday or 11 at night, I can still get in contact with you and let you know what I thought about such and such.

I've only been on LJ a month or so, and I like the fact that my friends list is still fairly small (it kinda blows me out that it's as big as it is, but I'm willing to bet I'll be adding more. General case of if someone friends me, I'm inclined to return the favour, as long as I can't see any major spoilers littering their LJ). I like the fact that I'm getting to know each of you by name. It's better than I can do in RL (I'm not a name or face person...)

I know that Bernice can be opinionated, likes Snape/Hagrid, and loves her rats completely. I know that T'Boy's looking forward to seeing SB as much as I was, isn't the only SV obsessee in her household and seems to run an amazing amount of lists. Weredonut remembers to wish people a happy birthday, seems to be watching a good deal of Buffy at the moment, and has an icon waiting for her when she emails me.

Slodwick not only makes beautiful graphics, but is also very fun on a day to day basis (and wonderful at pointing out where she got the original images from... I'm not too good at finding images on the 'net, so I do appreciate that a lot). Wendi (happyminion) and Jessica (dammitcarl) both produce wonderful SV fics that make me smile. It's great to hear what's going on in their heads, seeing the fics come together.

Askance's comments make me smile and giggle, especially the link to the Turkish Star Trek. I can't help thinking of Erilyn by her icon (I love that Dogbert icon), but I hope she's doing okay. I don't know all of you as well as I'd like to, but I'm looking forward to finding out a bit more as time goes by.

And, I want to wish each one of you a Merry Christmas, Happy New Year and enjoyable holiday season, because you all brighten up my days! Nothing better than checking LJ and finding a new post from a friend. (Okay, well, checking my bed and finding MR in there would be better, but this is the next best thing...)

In other news, I should be out X-mas shopping, but I've been hooked into Irresistible Poison, a fairly long Draco/Harry love potion fic. It's really good, and the reason I didn't get to sleep until 5.30am this morning. Sometimes, I love really long series that you can just immerse yourself in.

Dude. I want to make that into an icon. I'm not sure which fandom to use, but that quote's great! Lex... possibly, but he's not really sarcastic. I'm currently thinking either Wesley or Snape. Maybe Giles... Hmmm.... That's something to do after the wisdom teeth go.
