1. Name one song you hate to admit you like.
"Copa Cabana" - Yeah, dorky and embarrassing, but it always gets me singing and bopping along.
2. Name two songs that always make you cry.
Hmmm... I'm not much of a teary girl, but these too do get me a little down...
"Drifting" Akasha (or Akasa, one of the two) - A little Aussie, kinda tribal-vocals chicks group.
"Doves Cry" by Prince. Look, it just appeals to me, okay?
3. Name three songs that turn you on.
"The Way You Look Tonight" Brian... is it Brian? Someone not at all cool.
"Free Love" Depeche Mode but most of Depeche Mode's last CD works as great makeout music
and to quote
slodwick:
"I Wanna Come Over" Melissa Etheridge. (Three words: "Let. Me. In." *dies*)
4. Name four songs that always make you feel good.
"Santa Monica" by Everclear
"Strange Disease" by Prozzak
"Fever" by Ella Fitzgerald
"Bohemian Rhapsody" by Queen
5. Name five songs you couldn't ever do without.
"Smells Like Teen Spirit" by Nirvana 'cos it always makes me feel like moshing along to it, even though I've never been in the grunge scene.
"Piano Man" by Billy Joel
"Hotel California" by the Eagle (I think)
"I'm Only Happy When it Rains" by Garbage - first Garbage song I ever heard, and the one that got me into their stuff.
"Norwegian Wood" because there's too many memories of singing it in the car.
I don't think it's coincidental that I sing along to these songs. *g* You realise that as soon as I post this I'm going to remember other songs that I love dearly, right?
