I may be late to the party, but if I've stayed up to 3am reading, it deserves to be recced.

whatiknew is an adorable Kurt/Blaine AU. They meet because Blaine works in a coffee shop, but the important thing about this AU isn't the profession but the humour and sweetness. It's really about how fun crushes can be in those early stages where it's all potential and promise, and how taking those steps to an actual relationship can be terrifying but wonderful.
I love this version of Blaine -- imaginative and caught up in his own made-up narratives, a complete failboat when it comes to romance or managing to talk like a normal person, but incredibly sweet and loveable. I dare you to read it and not giggle at least once.
I also loved the epilogue. It's such a realistic description of a fantastic first date.

Date: 2012-12-13 09:45 pm (UTC)With so few glee fen on my reading list (well, up until like a week ago, thanks to your meme) I've really noticed the lack of recced reading. I'm used to relying on known authors or recs to find the good stuff. So, y'know, share nad share alike.

I miss being able to rely on my reading list for recs (well, for enough recs to keep me occupied, I guess) so I'm... being the change I want to see. And sharing the joy. All good.
