Summary:
This was an amazing story. I love the clarity of the POV, the way that it draws the reader in and makes you want to know more about Clint's life right from the first few paragraphs. I liked the slow reveal of getting to know Phil, making him feel new and unknown -- something that can be hard to do in fic, and makes for a great read when done right -- and the growing attraction between them.
I especially liked seeing Clint reunite with Barney. It felt awkward and uncertain, it felt honest and heartfelt and ultimately disappointing and heartbreaking the way that family can be. I think Natasha and Maria and Fury (hot but scary!) were used well, and felt as fleshed out as Phil's neighbours and horrible landlord.
I liked that Phil had a chance to change his mind on his own; that it wasn't a case of anyone being talked into anything, but having time to work out what he really wanted. I really liekd that I wanted to knwo what happened to Phil and Clint, and that this story absorbed me right from the start. I really enjoyed it.

Summary:
Since he was abandoned by his brother and then the circus, Clint Barton has resigned himself to making his own way in the world. So when he ends up living on the streets of New York in the middle of winter, he’s not expecting to be taken in by injured army veteran, Phil Coulson, or accidentally involved in an escalating war against the Russian mafia.
