A co-worker just told me that she's quit. Bugger. She's the other Financial Services girl, and she's nice. We can talk about books and films, and a little Buffy (not that the other gals don't talk about TV - it's just that I avoid The Bachelor conversations *groans*). I mean, it's not like I don't get on with most of my workmates, it's just that she's one of the two gals that I get on well with. *sigh*

I blame [livejournal.com profile] lilacdeity. Obviously, losing close co-workers is contagious.

Bummer dude, I know how you feel... years ago at a temp job there was a fellow JJJ fan, the only one of the lot of women that I could talk to, on and on and on... then she got herself a permenant job somewhere. No more JJJ on the radio after that eiter :-(

Luckily, there are other people in the office I can talk to. Jo at reception shares my ABC/The Bill love, and two of the guys here are into fantasy/scifi, so we've had a few conversations about X-Men, Robert Jordan, LoTR... But still, I'm going to miss long, rambling conversations.

Still, man, I want to be able to listen to JJJ. That would rock. As it is, we can't listen to any music (and since the boss tends to yell for me, I couldn't get away with headphones either...)

Yeah, the big bummer is that since she's still on the 3 months probation, she doesn't have to give notice. Hence, today or tomorrow will probably be her last day. *pouts*

Am I selfish much?
