H is for Hectic, which describes work in an accounting office just before the end of the financial year.

H is for Harried, which is how I feel at the moment.

H is for Hard, because it was so very difficult to drag myself out of bed this morning after only five hours of sleep.

H is for Hot, which describes the bathing scene in the Ancient Egyptian Clex, and helped cause my lack of sleep.

H is for Harrowing, for the realisation that I need to study this weekend. (Stupid NRG Business Admin course... *grrr* I wanted to research the Ottoman empire, and cloning, and DNA, and then write Clex.)

H is for Haste, because I have to go and work.

Annie!!!

I had no idea you wrote Hotohori/Nuriko fics! I Just found them today and devoured them.

Really liked 'A brief encounter', short and bittersweet. Had me a bit teary-eyed by the end.

Bwahahaha! How bad is it that I had to go my page and briefly check the fic to even remember it?

Thanks for the compliment, I'm only laughing because I completely forgot that I wrote that. Gee, I'm great at pimping my stuff! *g*

I have the memory of swiss cheese.

Thanks. I still stand by my conviction that Hotohori's marriage was just substitution (same theory applies to Nuriko falling for Miaka)... *g*

Of course she was. I mean he's the emperor right, he can have anyone he wanted to but he just happened to choose someone who looked like Nuriko. It's so obvious.

Exactly. Regardless of the novel's insistance that it actually had something to do with Nuriko getting Houki (sp? Not sure if that's even the right name...) to promise to take care of Hotohori...

Although my other favourite couples on SV were Tasuki/Kouji and Nakago/Tamahome, I was also very fond of Tasuki/Nuriko. It would have been sweet... *g*

*nods* There's a couple of good fics out there, but my favourite is the "Labyrinth FY Style"... Hmmm... I think there's a link to it from the Nakago fan Club page, but I'm a little too busy/feeling seedy this morning to find the link.

How I don't miss end of financial year *g*. Having moved from accounting/payroll to IT, I can send you lots of heartfelt sympathy however.

Although, I have to say that being in the financial planning side of it, instead of the tax side, meant that it actually wasn't as bad as I was expecting.

Although, left work at 6pm, gave a quick check to what was on my desk, and realised there was stuff I could/should have sent off days ago (just didn't realise it was ready. *grrr* Stupid me.).

But still, only a week 'til holidays! Yay me!
