My boss says red meat absorbs most of the crap in wine that gives people hangovers. I suspect that's his excuse...
Oh! I wonder if it's true. It'd explain why I feel so good. Either that, or quality wine doesn't give you bad hangovers. The wine was provided by one of the partners (he's actually a member of a wine tasting club) and the red wine was really, really nice. Smooth, and just a little bitter, and made me want chocolate to go with it, ... Hmmm... I think it was Pinot Noir, os something very similar.
Normally, my only description of wine is white or red, and the last time I got plastered on wine it was just cheap white & OJ for a student bash. Intriguing that both times, the booze was free (for me, at least.). *bg*
