Give me a vid with a song I know, the boys I love, and my favourite scenes between them, and you have a very happy Annie.
*squee* I'm going to write to the vidder and say thanks for putting it on FTP for me to download because I loved it!
I wasn't sure that Linkin Park's "In the End" would work for a Sam/Josh vid. I mean, I like the song (it's the only one of theirs that I do) but I just didn't think it would work, and it did. It's like a condensed WW, just Sam/Josh, and I'm thrilled by it. It has the flashback scenes from Shadow of Two Gunmen, it has a scene from Somebody's... and Josh losing it in Noel. It also has the building a fire scene *points at icon* with the flirty "Teamwork" dialogue running over the top of the music.
I'm just thrilled about it. There's no better feeling in the world than being absolutely thrilled by fandom! It's making me want to write a post-Somebody's fic that's been haunting me for a bit.
Hmmm... but I still have the Perry White challenge to do (so far, I've just got distracted by the research, and have no idea for the story) and I want to write Ottoman Clex (I actually have a book to read on the Ottoman armies, so... I may actually get it done by the deadline at the end of this month). Mind you, while I'm talking of fannish things, there's a couple of covers I want to do, and I want to finish my Clex icon series.
You know, when I got that book, I also got one of those Collins Science books on gems. I have no idea how that fits into anything that I'm doing, but I remember how much I loved that series of books as a kid. So very pretty, with big pictures and interesting information...
