Argh! Why does Nine have to have such dodgy programming for such good shows. Just flicked TV channels, and came across Farscape. I would have missed it, since it's not in the Herald Sun weekly TV guide.

I think it may be because it's not something they consider important they don't care whether it gets promoted or not. That's pretty much their history with Farscape anyway. I really don't have a lot of respect for any of the free to air tv stations anymore, but Nine has been especially bad recently.

I know. Farscape is such a good show, and should be promoted as such, but instead they just stick it on anywhere. When the season return came on, I had no idea what had happened. Last time I caught Farscape was last year's summer/off-ratings period. Although, I would like it if they screened it at 2pm like last year. It would give me a chance to catch up on the repeats...

Even with SV, which they kept advertising as "Australia's latest blockbuster series..." (or some equally implausible hype) they kept scheduling a week on, a week off at the start. Not to mention the ridiculous censorship.

They are just morons. I have pretty much decided that networks are aiming their shows at the lowest common denominator - and that is pretty damn low, a majority of the time. Anything they consider 'genre' is immediately shelved to the late slot *especially* if it's sci-fi. It's always amazed me that Stargate stays in the same spot, but then that could be because it's not too out there in sci-fi terms.
