Hnix is a goddess!*

Since I went to a client's house yesterday (5.30pm-6pm), I have no guilt about coming to work a little late or not accomplishing much today. The receptionist is away today (I hope she's sick. I'm not being mean, I just hope it's a sick or interview day, not a case of she's decided not to give them notice about her resignation) so I'm covering reception this arvo.
Today's been... occupied, but not too busy. I mean, I've been working all day on insurance forms, but I haven't exactly been going full steam ahead. It's just as well, considering that I didn't get to bed until about 1am, and am just a little sleepy.
Don't feel sorry for me, it was entirely self-inflicted. There was nothing on TV, and I was waiting for the Coles delivery (which ended up not coming due to system problems, and instead, it's coming tonight). So, I figured I'd watch an episode of Buffy because it would keep me awake. Of course, I had to know what happened next, so I watched the next episode too. And the next, and the one after that. *g*
So, I've now seen the end of the series and I just have to say, wow, that was good. I know that the Buffy finales are normally pretty good, but I haven't been that impressed by another show finale since the end of S1 Pretender (and I still kinda wish they'd finished the entire series there. It rocked.).
There are so many things I loved about those last four episodes, and a big one is humour. People laugh (okay, Dawn laughs, but the others do genuinely smile), and there are wise-cracks again.
You know, I now have an urge to go watch early Buffy again, probably S3 (and S4 since I've yet to see it). Man, I loved these characters, and as much as I doubted them in S5 and S6, I'm so proud that they ended it like this. So that I can look back and just love the series.
Staying up to watch the last four hours of Buffy? It was so worth the lack of sleep.
