Monday morning. It's a special type of hell.

I'm looking at [livejournal.com profile] tangleofthorns's "ask my characters" meme responses and am highly impressed. Check it out. You can hear each of the WW characters in their answers. That's damn good characterisations. *stares in awe*

Meanwhile, even though both she and [livejournal.com profile] therealjae have opened their characters up to questions, there just isn't anything I want to ask them. It's strange, but I'm slightly intimidated by asking the questions... *shakes head* Or, maybe it's just gut instinct saying avoid other people's characterisations when you're having trouble figuring out your own. *g*

All the same, I have the urge to ask them "How is life like a train?". Not that I expect any incredibly meaningful answer, just that the thought of actually asking the WW cast this, and seeing the WTF expressions on their faces, amuses me.

It's odd, that there's some characters I want to talk to and there's other's that I'd run screaming from. The WW are too intelligent, too efficient, too fundamentally good. They intimidate me.

The SV crew? I'd like to get to know Lois, but Clark, Lex, Chloe, and the rest? Not so interested in them either. Maybe I'm just not in a curious mood. *shruggs*

I'll blame it on Monday.

Hey, it's a bank holiday in NSW. Bugger! That means that there's a couple of tasks that should have been done Friday (I was sick and unproductive) and will now have to wait until Tuesday. Can you tell it's a Monday?

And I can just hear Bartlet answering that by going into a monologue about Union Pacific and the Golden Spike.

Glad you like the answers. This is a wonderful exercise.

Hee! He would, too. Thank you, that amused the heck out of me.

It seems like a great exercise and I was intrigued by... how clearly the characterisation comes across in your word usage, in the flow of the speech.

wow. that's a huge compliment. it's something that I've really been trying to work on.

Now, if I could just write something *over* 500 words...

You ask me, I ask you, and it all comes out in the wash. :-)

Heh. Yeah, but the red's going to smear all over the white and blue.

The WW colours will end up pink and purple... *bg*
