Just passing on the fun...

Exchange: Clark and Lex exchange Christmas gifts. Lovely and sweet.

Achilles' Heel: Not a particularly happy future fic. Took me a little while to get into, but the ending is well worth it.

Lilah's Coffin: Let's admit it. *sniggers* We all like Lex because he's shiny! Actually, it's a nice lighthearted fic, complete with it's own mutant freak of the week. Fun reading.

New SV actions figures: Just a quick bit of fun that made me giggle. Note: As always, homoerotic content sold separately.
I want the Clark and Lex dolls in the Luthor Manor playset.

Now I'm off to bed. I'm seeing TTT tomorrow, and long films combined with a lack of sleep can result in embarrassing snoring...

Lilah's coffin - line that had me sniggering out loud in the work place: "I have no self-esteem left after this," Lex said.

Dammit, I promised myself no Clex at work!

Good thing it's lunchtime ;-)

I cracked up at that line too.

Dammit, I promised myself no Clex at work!

Oh, I have trouble with that, too. Luckily, I'm not working at the moment, but I'm going to make an effort not to slack off and read fics in the new job.

The trouble is that there just so much fun...

Just because I already had the archive open (thanks to your link - you know I might not have gone there today if you hadn't linked to it... *g* ) I quickly checked the 'newest stories. There were 3, so I rapidly shoved them onto an unsaved Word Doc and pressed print.

Then I saw Rhiannonhero had posted one in her LJ, so I did the same with that.

The train ride home, and dinner, has been bliss *g*.

Mmmmm Shiny. LOL. Great line.

Can't blame it all on me!

Nice to know I'm not the only one who prints out fic for train journeys. Although, I still have the habit of conserving paper by printing them out in size 7 font in a two column format. I really shouldn't be surprised that I need distance glasses... It could be somewhat self-inflicted.

I suppose that format helps stop fellow train travellers from reading over your shoulder (instead of wedging yourself into corners as I do) ;-).

I don't have time to format. The office printer is rarely left unattended, so when I press print I have to imitate Clark and superspeed into the print room and stand over it.

Yeah, it's not something that you want people looking over your shoulder at (whether on public transport or on the train). It's hard to explain... "Look, they're really cute guys. Yeah, they're meant to be fucking like weasels..."

Do you know many people read the bible on the train??? It's bizarre! Weirds me right out.

Why can't they read nice, snuggly hot slash like a normal person?

*blinks* That is very strange. I actually haven't noticed it Melbourne. People normally read the paper, read a novel or sleep.

Then again, I find bible reading for the hell of it bizarre (except for revelations... if you're really bored, it's a weird ride). It's one of those things that I think you need to be either really curious or really bored to do. Right after the dictionary. *g*

Hee! Personally, I'm always pleased when I see very professional types reading something I'd consider interesting. Such as a middle-aged guy in a conservative suit, reading Harry Potter. That just thrilled me. (And made me try to read it over his shoulder...)

Yes, yes, papers, novels, sleepers and bible readers. I know because I always look at what people are reading. And get annoyed when they turn the page if I'm not ready *g*.

We had an aggressive busker once. She walked downstairs, stood to block the exit and started singing very loudly. Finished the song, then walked up the aisle with her hand out for money. Original idea.

Hey! I like dictionaries! *g*

Original idea, but a bit of a pain. If I had extra money... Che, that's too much of a theoretical to even consider.

Hey! I like dictionaries!

I know. *g*

It was a frightened, captive audience. She got a lot of money. I think people were just scared of her.

You teased me. And I fell for it. I need a drink *g*.

Go for it. Combine alcohol and Adina, and you'll be licking the poster before you know it!
