My lil' brother's birthday is the 6th of October, so there's the perfect gift. Tickets for us to both go see him. *g* I talked with Mum, and she said that if he wants to, her birthday present for him will be the airfare from Canberra to Melbourne (and back) for him to come down and visit me. Woohoo!
It's $70 a ticket and on a weeknight, but I'm still thrilled by the idea. I think the tickets go on sale Friday... but I won't have any money until next Thursday... Huh. I knew there had to be a cloud somewhere in that silver lining. *g*
