I've got my Weird Al tickets! The seats are about 7 rows back on the first floor ("Lounge" or whatever...), on one of the middle-side aisles. They're pretty good seats (and could have been much worse) but I'm still surprised that so many had sold within the first day.
I also picked up information about the Critic Lounge (talks abut TV held monthly at Federation square), so I'm going to mention it on the Melbourne Slashers list. This month's topic is UST in shows, and next month is on the brilliance of Homicide: Life On The Street (which I've never even seen but I know there are quite a few fans who consider it very good).
ETA: After seeing friends posts, I'm very happy about my Weird Al tickets. Considering that there are two Sydney shows, and the first six rows were sold out by 9.15am (Yikes!), I did really damn well. Just as well I borrowed the money from Mum to buy the tickets today. *g*
