I'm playing truant from work. I'm actually well enough to go to work (even if I am blocked up, can't stop coughing and feel as if someone gave me a mighty shove in the chest) but I called up sick anyway. *g* I blame it on [livejournal.com profile] raincitygirl for putting the anti-work thoughts in my head before I went to sleep.

As a result of all that coughing, I have that rough and husky, sexy voice thing going. However, there's no one around to appreciate it. (So all of you will just have to imagine me typing in a sexy, husky voice. *g*)

It's the thrill of being naughty!

You know the most amusing thing about this quiz? One of the results is "F is for Fanny sucked dry by a leech"! Now, that may only sound very rude to other Aussies, but it still made me crack up.

And, after saying that I wasn't writing SN fic, I wrote a ficlet for a friend. I'm going to put it into word, fix it up and think about posting it. You know, trying to come up with the combined snark for two Sorking fandoms is going to make my head implode. I'm just saying.

Sounds rude (and funny) to Brits too! *g*

I wish we had Sport's Night over here. It sounds like a great show.

Heh. Yeah, it's probably only Yanks who wouldn't get it.

As for Sports Night, I can't recommend it highly enough. Apparently it screened over here at about 3am (typical dodgy programmers) but a friend loaned me some tapes. It's good stuff. Snarky, Sorkinese dialogue, humourous and interesting. Plus, slashy as hell.

My only nitpicks about it would be that you may need to watch a couple episodes to get into the swing of it. The difference in timing put me out (used to WW and an hour long program, so the first few episodes seemed too short) and the humour is there but it's not really average sitcom stuff.

Joshua Melina may get to you too (he plays both Will - WW and Jeremy - SN, and both characters are geeky, knowledge boys, although one's more focussed on sports... *g*)

All the same, the similarities between Dan and Josh, and Sam and Casey are highly amusing.

Oh, taht is SO not my fault. I went. I whined about it, but I went to work. It's not my fault you have no work ethic and are skiving off. Lucky duck. Some of us were slaving away all day.

Hee! Although, considering that I'm either coughing or blowing my nose every five minutes, I don't think I'm quite as well as I thought I was...

Okay, that sentence made sense inside my head. *g*
