Well, friends piked on me last night, and suggested seeing a play that a mutual friend (I think I've met her) is in tonight. But I've decided to pike on that (becuase I have unwatched Buffy episode on tape, and the W100 is on tonight, so screw going out).

So, last night, after hanging around town in order to meet up with (dodgy, piker) friends, I did a little shopping and bought new arch-supports for my boots, and new eyeshadow (Maybelline Cool Effects eyeshadow pencil in Cold Cash, which is actually this really funky almost-olive green). I got home just in time to watch The Bill, and then crashed.

Considering I fell asleep by 10, and woke up at 6.30, that's 8.5 hours sleep, but I'm still tired. I think the plan for the Easter long weekend will be to get ten hours sleep a night, with early nights so I can actually think when I have to get out of bed. The other priorities will be catching up on fic, finishing the boozefest fic, sewing new buttons on to my winter coat (not everything in my life is fandom related) and possibly watching some more WW. (Hey, erilyn, did you need those WW tapes back any time soon? I just haven't had a chance to watch them all yet, and Things just keep happening.)

Hmmm... I'm currently covering reception for an hour (my day to cover the receptionist's lunch time). There's a work lunch at 1pm, because a guy's leaving, so I'm doing my lunchtime shift early. (On the good side, I get to listen to music! I can't do that at my desk.)

Ho hum. If I was a good person, I'm sure I could russle up something productive to do, but everything that I can think of at the moment requires either a phone, or my desk.

So... I'm going to check on LJ. See if the W100's out yet. Maybe actually read a fic or two... The world's full of possibilities!

I used to be into Buffy fiction, especially Xander/Spike, so when someone on ASA asked for links, I thought Fine, I'll check out a few recs, forward a couple of links...

I've spent the last hour at work going through Buffy fics and going Man, love this idea.... There's no way I'll be able to read these at work, so I'm posting my links to read at home.

It's Angel the Soap! *sniggers* I forgot how terrible that dressing-room dialogue was! But the incredibly serious expressions on their faces as they say the lines? Hilarious. (I considered quoting the lines, but I'm not that cruel *g*)
