Hmmm... Yeah, [livejournal.com profile] sinbrat, LJ does seem slow. And some of the pages won't load without refreshing.

Got offline last night, but still didn't drag myself to bed until 11.30pm. Sheesh. What happened to the girl who used to sleep 9-11 hours a night? These days it's 7 hours if I'm lucky. I just need 36 hour days so I have a chance to check out the net, watch telly and sleep during my time off. *g*

QaFUS... )

In other news, may go out drinking with friends this evening. Surprisingly, I'm not as thrilled about that as I should be. I mean, I've got the tape set up for Buffy (Dad's promised to tape WW for me in Canberra, and then send me a tape chock full of episodes later... *g*) and there's nothing else I'll be desperately missing, either online or on TV, but still... Just less than thrilled about it. Or, really, just a little thrilled about it... it's a yay, not a YAY!!!.

Hey, did anyone else catch Manchild on Thursday night (BBC comedy with *squee*... Giles)? Any idea why he's listed as Anthony Head, and not ASH? I don't know why, but it threw me for a moment. I've got it on tape, so I'm glad I can go back and rewatch the fun of Giles-as-a-dentist... (or, really, with that accent, it's Ripper-as-a-dentist).

Okay, I've spent half of my time over the last couple of days entering names and addresses into Excel for a mailmerge because MYOB can't or won't do it directly.

However, when entering a client into MYOB, they do have a huge list of titles (like Mr, Mrs, Ms, Miss, etc) with the full meaning of the abbreviation beside them. Do you have any idea how amused I was to see Midn - Midshipman there?

I now know how to address a letter to Midn Kennedy, or Midn Hornblower! *g*

:: how nintendo are you? ::

*g* I used to play that with my brother on unlimited continues! So much damn fun.

(Admittedly, Mario's fun too, but BubbleBobble rocked more because you could play with two players together, working toward the common goal...ie. eating the food before they could).
