Sat down this afternoon to write fic. Decided not to get on the net until I'd made some prgress on the boozefest fic. Needless to say, I didn't do anything on it. (It's official, I'm stuck... *g*)

Instead, I started another little SV fic, and got stuck on that too. *g* Hence, I have reverted to the easiest way to make yourself think without worrying: drinking! Vodka and apple cordial, not bad.

I'm wondering if there's anything I can do with Galliano. I've got more than half a bottle left (Mum and Mark brought it up with them, and left the vodka, wine and Galliano in the fridge with me! Yay! I also have a teeny, tiny little bottle of Midori, but I don't want to waste my favourite drink... *g*)

Hey, when the heck did I lose my tolerance for alcohol?! I know I've never been a heavy drinker, but one glass of vodka mix never used to send me. Now, I've had one glass and I'm feeling very happy and tiddley.

(Random question - does anyone outside my family use the word tiddley, for that not quite drunk but on your way there phase?)

Dudes! SV on at 7.30pm, and also at 7.30pm? Ben-Hur. The gayest biblical film yet. *g*

So, I tape SV, and watch Ben-Hur? Or watch and tape SV, and just miss the first two hours of Ben-Hur. Hmmm... Big decision.

But if I tape Ben-Hur, I can't tape Farscape, and we have an episode starting at 10.40pm...

Oh, SV starting! Offical decision, was screw Ben-Hur. That's too much thinking involved. (I can always hire it if I ever have the over riding need to see it someday.)

You know that ad-break eye-catch where lex just walks up to the camera and stares at you? I love that. Sends shivers down my spine.

The Clark one? I hate beyond reason for the shocking, 80's-reject, hairstyle.

And, I love Pete, and Clark, and Lex. And Lionel? So damn convincing as a man who doesn't want anyone's help, but finds that he now needs it.

Nothing better than watching a favourite show and really enjoying it. *g*

Found my drink! Galliano and milk? Isn't bad (tastes like malted milk, actually).

Galliano in milk with sustain (chocolately flavoured protein thingy you add to milk, alternative of milo - although I have that too) very tasty! Think one of those bottles of choc mudslide.

Plus, much stronger. *g* Okay, I don't want to drink too much of it before I finish what I'm trying to write, but that's nummy.

I know why I'm avoiding the boozefest fic. I don't know what I'm doing with it. first off, I think I need to figure out if this is post-superman, or pre-superman. I can't just keep writing and ignoring the fact that Clark will end up as the hero of Metropolis.

And really, if he's already working with Lois, he should be Superman. And I just don't know where I stand with that in relation to Lex...

Oooh, Farscape's starting. I'll tape it and watch it again later. I can't even remember where we were up to with the last episode. Two Crichtons, Aeryn's mother was... back on board Talyn? Hmmm... I'm not sure. But, on the good side, I can predict with quite a bit of certainty that my Aeryn crush is about to flare up again.

*sigh* Aeryn...

Hmmm... It needs a beta, and may have a few errors since half of it was written while tiddly, but at the moment, I'm pretty happy with it.
