Remember me mentioning going to X2 with the staff tonight? Remember me being just a little cynical about how many would show to the actual film?

I was so right. Includng me, there are four staff definitely coming, and one possibly coming (out of an office of 19 staff). Heh. Since two of them are bringing guests with them, it's possible that I won't be the only chick in the group...

Meanwhile, work is a hive of activity becuase the BAS's are due for lodgment pretty damn soon. However, since I'm financial planning staff, it's a case of everyone around me is busy, and I can barely talk to the boss to get instructions.

And, because I'm curious, if you look at your TV crushes/favourite characters, do you see a pattern emerging? Is there one thing that they all seem to have?

I'm wondering because the guys I drool over, generally tend to be knowledge!boys. The types that can lose themselves in a book, researching any obscure topic. They are intelligent and frequently have an odd combination of knowledge. (Wes, Giles, Lex, Lionel)

The girls are generally bitches, in one form or another. They tend to be the strong ones who go for what they want and make me drool. They do what needs to be done and frequently do it with a bit of snark. (Aeryn, Faith, Cordy, Dawn, Tara. You may think that Tara doesn't belong, but she does. She's shown a good deal of strength, and when it comes to defending her friends/girlfriends, she doesn't hestitate with the snark.)

This is why I'm reading Jenn's Somewhere... fic and drooling over her Lois. Mmmmm... Lois.
