Since I went to a client's house yesterday (5.30pm-6pm), I have no guilt about coming to work a little late or not accomplishing much today. The receptionist is away today (I hope she's sick. I'm not being mean, I just hope it's a sick or interview day, not a case of she's decided not to give them notice about her resignation) so I'm covering reception this arvo.

Today's been... occupied, but not too busy. I mean, I've been working all day on insurance forms, but I haven't exactly been going full steam ahead. It's just as well, considering that I didn't get to bed until about 1am, and am just a little sleepy.

Don't feel sorry for me, it was entirely self-inflicted. There was nothing on TV, and I was waiting for the Coles delivery (which ended up not coming due to system problems, and instead, it's coming tonight). So, I figured I'd watch an episode of Buffy because it would keep me awake. Of course, I had to know what happened next, so I watched the next episode too. And the next, and the one after that. *g*

So, I've now seen the end of the series and I just have to say, wow, that was good. I know that the Buffy finales are normally pretty good, but I haven't been that impressed by another show finale since the end of S1 Pretender (and I still kinda wish they'd finished the entire series there. It rocked.).

There are so many things I loved about those last four episodes, and a big one is humour. People laugh (okay, Dawn laughs, but the others do genuinely smile), and there are wise-cracks again.

You know, I now have an urge to go watch early Buffy again, probably S3 (and S4 since I've yet to see it). Man, I loved these characters, and as much as I doubted them in S5 and S6, I'm so proud that they ended it like this. So that I can look back and just love the series.

Staying up to watch the last four hours of Buffy? It was so worth the lack of sleep.

Hmmm... the Spark's personality test is fairly accurate, actually. That's kinda unusual in an online test.

Annie,
Like just 8% of the population you are a MASTERMIND (Submissive Introvert Abstract Thinker). You can be silent and withdrawn, but behind your reserved exterior lies an active mind that allows you to analyze situations and come up with creative, unexpected solutions. Normal people call this "scheming." Don't learn German.

Anyway, your sense of style and originality are your strengths, and people will respect your judgment once they get to know you. If you learn to be a little more personable, you could be a great leader--you've definitely got the "vision" thing down. Just make sure all the plotting you do behind those eyes of yours is healthy.

Famous masterminds in television: Dr. Claw, The Scarecrow and Mrs. King, Montgomery Burns.

Hee! Dr Claw and Mr Burns. I shouldn't be quite so amused by those "similar" personality types, but I am. *g*

The "don't learn German" thing amuses me too, only because I learnt German for 6 months in Year 7. However, I generally suck at learning languages and was very happy to drop it.

Hey, [livejournal.com profile] tboy, The Bill's starting soon.

C'mon, give me company for my Luke hating...

I'm getting the glare and the growl ready right now...

We have a change of icons.

Did I do my study? Did I write fic? Did I do anything even vaguely productive?

No. Instead I procrastinated and made myself new icons. ([livejournal.com profile] slodwick and [livejournal.com profile] happyminion know where the lines come from.)

My old icons were very fandom orientated, but these are all about me! *g*
