Yippee!

Heh. No boss at work today. Yes, I have a big list of work stuff to do, and, yes, I have also spent the last hour and a half two hours on LJ. *g*

There's a wave of fan OTP's through the SV fandom. It was started by [livejournal.com profile] slodwick and continued by Hope. I'm highly amused by it. It's sweet that so many fans have made close friendships through fandom. (I'm resolutely ignoring the fact that I don't have an OTP of my own because I refuse to whine and I'm pretty faithful to my crushes. Hence, no OTP-ing until I'm not crushing any more.)

Had a moment of excitement at work yesterday as we evacuated the building. The amusing thing was that the fire alarm went off, work called up and was told that it was just a technical glitch so everyone should keep working. Then, almost three minutes later, the firetruck turned up outside and we were told to evacuate. Highly dodgy organisation as everyone went out willy-nilly. *rolls eyes* Apparently it was just the construction workers using blowtorches that set it off, and it wasn't an actual fire. Just... dodgy.

Saw the end of Angel last night. Can I just say woo and hoo? )

My Buffy quote is: I may be dead but I'm still pretty ) My first reaction was that it didn't suit me, but it actually does. The only other one on the list that might apply is "For I am Xander, the king of cretins" because I can be a total moron at times. Not always, just sometimes.

I'm hungry, so I'm going to go grab some of the biscuits (free at work: Yummy Arnotts cookies!) and then work. After I've read [livejournal.com profile] thete1 and [livejournal.com profile] celli's latest fics. *g*

Ow!

I was fine until about 11.30am (stuffing around reading fics and LJ) and then I suddenly got a bad headache and heartburn/chest pains. And a bit of an earache.

I mean, this came on really suddenly. I went from feeling pretty good, to feeling absolutely rotten within the space of about 5 minutes. Had a glass of water, tried closing my eyes, tried walking around a bit, standing up, sitting down, and nothing helped.

I've just found the receptionist's secret hoard of panadol (okay, it's only a panadol packet in a drawer, but at the moment I'm willing to sing the praises of the receptionist). Still have a shocking headache and feel as if I may spin out if I stand up or walk too quickly, but the sharp chest pain seems to have faded.

Weird.
