*shruggs* I'm actually posting for the sake of posting.

Nothing intriguing to say, just posting for the heck of it. Yes, I am spamtastic, thank you very much. (I don't know why, but the phrase "spamtastic" makes me smile every time I write it. Maybe it's just the enthusiastic cheerleader voice that I hear with it... *g*)

Acheivements:

- I have cross-posted my little WW fic to inthetallgrass.

- I have not really sat down and edited my WW WiP. Since Mum's staying down here until next week, I probably won't do it this weekend, Signe. Yeah, I suck.

- I am acheiving very little at work, but on the other hand, I don't feel over-stressed about it either. Co-worker is off sick again (she took four day off last week, I took two off this week, so the boss is less than thrilled, but her Mum called and said she's in the hospital, so... Well, I hope it's not too serious. I can't say much more than that without feeling hypocritical.)

- I have no urge to write for the SV W100. None, I tell you. Although, that's less a fandom thing and more of a "I'm tired, I have a light headache, I don't want to write anything" mood.

- I may be going to the cinema with Mum on the weekend. Also, as stated above, Mum's staying this weekend, so I probably won't be posting a dozen times a day. (Yeah, I can hear the collective sigh of relief from here! *g*)

- I'm still... mulling over QaF. Hmmm...

Okay, I'm off to read Pearl-o's Sn fic, Nutrition and Other Needs. If you haven't read it, go do so. This is the gal who wrote my favourite SV femslash fic ever, and is highly talented. Plus, she has a great hold of characterisation and dialogue, and it's full of gems like this:

Jeremy shakes his head and stares dejectedly at his bottle. "How can I go into a marriage after how my parents' turned out? What if it's genetic?"

"It's not genetic, for god's sakes," Casey says, a little annoyed.

Danny adds, "If it were genetic, Casey and I would be happily married right now."

Jeremy turns to stare at him for a moment.

"To other people," Casey clarifies.

Jeremy groans and buries his head in his arms.

Hee! There is nothing not to love.
