Oct. 6th, 2003 10:30 amHey, it's my little bro's birthday today! We both thought it was tomorrow. It was only Mum calling to wish him happy birthday that alerted us to the date. *g*
We got videos yesterday, and I finally saw St Elmo's Fire. I have a few thoughts regarding Rob Lowe and that film:
1) Hot pink should never be a fashion choice for guys. It's occasionally bearable on women, but it's really not a colour I expect to see on guys. Even though Rob looked surprisingly good in it. (It could have been worse. One of the other guys? Wore hot pink plaid.)
2) The hair. *snerk* Seriously, Rob was sporting one of the few hairstyles that manages to be taller than Angel has ever achieved. (Unfortunately, even though it's such an 80's-reject of a style, I still prefer it to the S1 WW haircut.)
3) For most of the film, Rob seemed to be wearing more lipstick and blush than the girls. If that boy had been any more rosy-cheeked, he could have doubled as a stop sign.
4) I'm fighting the urge to slash Sam and Billy. Fighting it, I tell you. That many Rob Lowe's could cause the world to spontaneously combust.
Considering I have such a weak spot for dark-haired pretty boys, I really should love Clark Kent/TW more than I do. *shruggs* Still think Lex/MR's far sexier, though. (On the other hand, Red!K Clark? Makes me melt into a pile of lusty goo, which Lex never does. So, obviously my attraction isn't quite as shallow and looks-based as I like to think.)
