Okay, just a bit of advance warning. Mum's coming down tonight and she's moving back in with me, permanently. Hence, I won't be spending as much time online in general.

West Wing question: We don't have any knowledge of Sam Seaborn's birthdate, do we? I can't find anything, not even a mention of what month his birthday occurs in. ( My timeline for Sam Seaborn )

Got to work half an hour late this morning (ie. 9.30am, but the rest of the staff start at 8.30am, so it looks really late, even though it's not). On the good side, did manage to remember to bring lunch. Mmmmm... pasta!

Have just finished a can of coke (the constant friend of the sleep deprived!). Am sleepy and tired, but now, kinda hyped. Also seem to have lost the art of using pronouns...

ETA: Overheard at work when one of the partners asked a staff member if he had some queries for him.
"Yeah, I couldn't find you. You're like the Scarlet Pimpernel."

Am I the only amused by that unusual literary reference? *g*

I'm all sniffly thanks to dammitcarl.

I'm going home now, and Mum's already waiting for me. In a way, I'm very glad LJ's been so quiet today. I think I'm actually going to be pretty busy over the next week at work, and at home. (Bugger. *g*)

On the good side, I have free tickets to Oktober fest this weekend. It'd be better if I was a beer drinker, but should still be fun.
