Sam's timeline

Okay, just a bit of advance warning. Mum's coming down tonight and she's moving back in with me, permanently. Hence, I won't be spending as much time online in general.
West Wing question: We don't have any knowledge of Sam Seaborn's birthdate, do we? I can't find anything, not even a mention of what month his birthday occurs in.
My timeline for Sam Seaborn:
Whatever canonical evidence I have is stated, but most of it is just my logic. Of course, during every year quoted, Sam's age started the year at that age, but would have his birthday sometime during that year.
1964 - Age 0, born
1973 - Age 8 (turning 9), in elementary school
1982 - Age 17 (turning 18), starts college (in college for four years, as mentioned in S2 episode re: the General Accounting reports: "I spent four years in college and three years in law school, and I had to pay $30 at Kinko's!")
1986 - Age 21, starts law school (in law school for three years, as above)
1989 - Age 24, starts working in Dewey Ballentine (stays for two years - pure speculation as DB's only mentioned briefly in S1, and could just be a mistake)
1991 - Age 26, starts working in Gage Whitney (works there for seven years, as mentioned in S4, "Game On", "Tell her... I've worked at Gage Whitney for seven years".)
1997 - Age 32 (turning 33), still working in Gage Whitney, convinced by Josh to leave and join Bartlet campaign. (As per S2 "ITSOTG" flashback, "3 years ago".)
1998 - Age 33, Bartlet campaign
1999 - Age 34, first year of administration (S1 - corresponding roughly to real time of airdate) - Roslyn
2000 - Age 35 (turning 36), second year of administration (S2) - MS
2001 - Age 36, third year of administration (S3)
2002 - Age 37 (turning 38), forth year of administration (S4) - Bartlet second election; Orange County election.
The intriguing thing is that this not only works with the 5 Things AU, it's also the age I quoted in a different fic, when I just pulled an approximate number off the top of my head. *g* Sometimes, my mind knows what it's doing. Not always though.

Hmmm... that would make him 31 in 1999. But, looking at the backstory, that doesn't work... Not unless you assume that the mention of "Dewey Ballentine" was an error, or they later decided to change it to a fictional lawfirm (because keeping it as a real law firm would probably cause some problems when it came to portraying Sam's backstory or the whole Kensington Oil deal).
Well, I dislike accepting unofficial canon over a reference that actually appeared in the show, so I'm going to keep my Sam a few years older. Out of curiousity, do you know what age everyone else was meant to be on the pilot?
Oh, and before I forget, since you posted anonymously, would you like an LJ code? Not that you have to keep an LJ yourself, just that it makes commenting easier because you get emailed the other person's replies.
