Just reading The Roland-Story Invitational (JC/Lance highschool AU) and I can't help thinking that the mix of lust and sports is highly sexy, even though I avoid physical exertion like the plague. *shrugs* Just a random thought I decided to share.

Now I really need to go to bed. Hmmm... I'd stay up reading if I could get Synchronik's site to work for me. As it is, my computer keeps only loading part of the fics. Hence, I get down to the end of the page and find that the rest of the story has been cut off. Reloading the page does nothing to help.

I need a better JC icon...

Joey Fatone meets the Fab Five in Queer Eye For The NSync Guy by Pablo. You all know I was just sitting here and sniggering all through this, right?

Joey hasn't moved and he's quickly enveloped by Carson. He hugs back without thinking and then notices Carson fumbling at his collar looking for the tag for the shirt he's wearing. Carson's expression speaks volumes and Joey can't remember when he killed all of Carson's relatives. The look on Carson's faced is one reserved for serial killers alone.

*snerk*

After a few moments Carson's steadied himself, the others seem calmer and Joey's used to cameras after all. Before Joey can say a word, Carson's talking again. Joey watches him spin around in a small circle, arms outstretched.

"So, the resemblance? Lance Bass and I could be separated at birth, no?"

"Yeah by birth and approximately twenty years." Carson doesn't even flinch as Ted whispers not too quietly under his breath.

(no subject)

Another day sick off work. So far, I've spent all my time trying to fix my website into something at least halfway presentable. (After spending an entire morning doing this, however, I'm considering just finding everything and linking to it.)

Of course, this means not only a lot of stuffing around in FrontPage, but also trying to track down which fics I've written and where I've posted them. I'd also like to get them beta'd before I post them to the site, so I'm putting out a general beta request.

Anyone willing to beta:
- two short Sport Night fics? Thanks celli!
- a short QaFUS/popslash fic (Justin/Justin)?
- a couple short West Wing fics? *bats eyelashes at oxoniensis*

I'm going to add to that list as I find the fics... *g*

Drumroll, please!

I have got my site up and working. Generally. It's still missing some of the smaller SV fics and all of the SV fics are just outside links because I got lazy, but it pretty much works. (Admittedly, my old anime fanart page is now impossible to access, but that's not a bad thing since it really does need a complete overhaul, and since I'm not really in the fandom, it's not as if anyone's going to go looking for my extrememly shoddy artwork. *g*)

All the same... ta-da!

It's simple and clean, with the occasional pretty picture, and a coherent colour scheme throughout (well, almost.). This has taken me about 8 hours today, so I'm going to sit back and be proud of myself.

I should probably stop patting myself on the back before I strain something.
