The whole idea of raaising funds for your kids' school by selling chocolate at work is fattening hard to resist inspired, although the "Lemonade Freddo"'s are weird.

I feel like rubbing my hands together and saying "Exxxxcellent" like Mr Burns. Or possibly just going for the good old evil laugh. [livejournal.com profile] laylee told me I couldn't leave the story like that, and I am! Well, it's only because a) not writing smut at work (no way, no how. I'd blush and glow like a cheap christmas tree) and b) lil' bro is coming down tonight, and that denotes spending (more) time with the family. Hence, it's not so much ending like that, as being put on hold.

Was so glad that I'm a little into popslash. Meant that as I was listening to Triple J this morning, I got the jokes about Kevin. *g* ("Justin Timberlake's in NSync." Hee!)

I'm thinking about the whole "What story do you tell" questions that have been floating around LJ. [livejournal.com profile] witchqueen asked, [livejournal.com profile] latxcvi answered, [livejournal.com profile] celli brought it to my attention and then [livejournal.com profile] thete1 reflected on it. So, of course I'm bound to put my five cents worth in. For those of you who hate me and don't want to read! *g* )

After thinking my way through that, I realise that Fandom plays pretty much the same role. It's not my entire life, but it is a wonderful part of it. And it's you guys who make it so incredible. *hugs friends*

*yawn* Chocolate at lunch results in a sleepy Annie in the afternoon. Of course, it could have something to do with staying up until 2am writing smut last night, but I'm going to blame the chocolate.

Do you realise I stayed up for three hours, and wrote about 1,100 words. That means that I write at a speed of about 6 words a minute, or one word every ten seconds. Heh, it's proof I am a slow writer. (Trying counting to ten seconds. Just try it. That's a long time to think about a word.)

Read through [livejournal.com profile] wearemany's review of (a? the?) JC concert. She has seven interesting points about it. Being the JC/Lance gal that I am, I found point four sweet (entitled "lance loves jc", interestingly enough). Point six just... creeps me out a little, which makes me hypocritical in the extreme. Yeah, I've read stories with intimate descriptions of him having sex, and yet... I find that paying such close attention to JC just a little off-putting.

*shakes head* I am weird and full of contradictions. I think most of it is just me, that I just find it a little too personal to check people out so obviously. (I've watched Hornblower over and over, and I *love* the show, and yet when people bring up the subject of their tight breeches, I have to consciously think about it, and then realise that I just haven't been paying attention to that. Despite saying that, I do admire Mal's spacepants on Firefly.)

Maybe it's just that I don't find the physical side of sex so appealing. I'm sorry, but the human genitals? Were made as a practical joke. Their appeal is in their function, not their appearance. Hence, if I'm attracted to people, it's generally ecause of their smile, eyes, face... neck, shoulders, chest... and occasionally hips and legs on women. I just seem to skim straight past the crotch and butt. *shrugs* As I said, I'm weird and contradictory.

Okay, [livejournal.com profile] happyminion (nearly typed wendiminion, but I'm sure that's somebody else... *g*) posted about her casting of the JL.

Now, because I'm tired, and there's a picture of Rob Lowe hiding behind my computer (I'm serious about this, he's all blue shirt and crossed arms, and "take me seriously, dammit"), I'm suddenly picturing Rob Lowe as Bruce Wayne.

Feel free to snicker along with me.

Truly odd thing, is now I'm wondering if he could pull it off. Certainly, the bored socialite side of Bruce Wayne would be easy for him, and he fits the physical build that the cartoons always make me imagine (oh so square shoulders, peircing blue eyes, wide/strong jaw, dark hair, very traditionally attractive).

But could he pull off the threat of Batman? All opinions welcome. *g*
