Dec. 9th, 2003 09:18 amEurgh. Hot night and going to bed late meant that I woke up this morning feeling disgusting due to the lack of sleep. You know that sick feeling you get when you wake up suddenly after a few minutes of deep sleep? I was like that this morning. Totally growled at Mum, but if it hadn't been for her, I wouldn't have got out to work this morning. (Must remember to thank her tonight. *g*)
On the other hand, although I have issues with the fact that my brother chose to live with Dad instead of Mum (I know, it's not my life and it's not a personal slight... as long as I don't think about it, I'm fine), I forgot he was so much fun to watch slashy shows with. Even though he missed The OC (the advertising campaign made it look as if it was all about Marissa's whining, apparently. I wouldn't know because I went on recs from fans), he agreed to watch half an hour of it until Nip/Tuck started. When Nip/Tuck started, he was disappointed that we had to turn off OC and come back to it later!
I was thrilled that he agreed with me about Ryan's coolness, Seth's adorable geekiness, and the obvious slashy vibes between them. There is something really fun about doing Seth-impersonations, Jerry Springer style, when Marissa's around ("Stay away from my man, bitch!") with someone else. Plus, he agreed with Mum and my impressions of Summer - skanky ho. And he pointed out that physically, Ryan is the bastard son of russell Crow and Simon Baker (from The Guardian).
