The good, the bad and the Friday.

Things that are making me happy:

- slodwick's pretty, pretty pictures. I mean, her last set was incredible, but these? These make me think of how hot Lana could be, theoretically speaking.

- The pure amount of Casey-love in these comments. *loves Casey*

- I taped the Buffy rerun last night and got to see Jesse ("the stoner who never grew up"). I'm not sure if it's a sign that I'm slash-focused, or SN obsessed, but my first thought when Xander and Jesse hugged? They hug like Dan and Casey. None of this, only the shoulders touch, it's a full-on manly, supportive hug.

- The fact that it's Friday, and it didn't rain on the way to work. (I mean, it's not as if I've done anything this week, but still... Friday!)

Things that are making me not so happy:

- Angel S5 started this week and I missed it. Completely. Had no idea it was on. Hopefully, they'll rescreen it in all the states, not just NSW.

- Apparently, the expected temperature for tomorrow is 41C. 41C! I am going to melt. (I was going to see mum's new place, but I don't think it's worth either of us travelling in that heat. Hence, I'll have to reschedule.)

- An email from work this morning regarding the casual Fridays dress code:
Whilst the dress code is casual it is expected to be neat & appropriate for a professional office. For example denim jeans, track suits, sneakers & shirts with no collars are not appropriate.

WTF?! I can't wear *sneakers*?! I wear non-demin jeans, the company polo shirt, and now I can't wear sneakers... *grrr* (Did I mention it's Friday the 13th?)

I have been unproductive today, but have enrolled in classes (Accounting Theory, Tuesday nights, 5.30-8.30pm; Financial Planning, Thursday nights, 6.30-9.30pm).

I can't quite shake the minor panic that I really won't be capable of the full-time work/part-time study thing. However, have decided to deal with this the way I deal with all major stresses, and *avoid* it like the plague. I'll either cope, or fail. Either one won't *kill* me.

*deep breath*

No point worrying about it now.

But, man, I wanna go hooooooooooome!
