I'm not really online. I'm just checking while I eat breakfast. (Yes, I have no problems eating pasta with a mild chicken/carrot curry sauce for breakfast. Mmmm...) Then, I'm going to do this study. Really.

Biolove... )Um... yes, this is the reason I should not be allowed to go online when I've put time aside to study. *sighs* Good grief. I sat down on the computer 45 minutes ago. (Now it's 6.15am.)

[livejournal.com profile] goss made Small Park paperdolls!

So freakin' adorable!!!

I just wish I had cardboard to print them on. (I've already printed out the B&W ones and plan to color them as soon as I find my colored pencils.)

Well, sending some fics to [livejournal.com profile] tboy (and, fingers crossed there's at least one that she hasn't read, although... honestly, I don't know how much chance there is of that), made me look through some recs.

Seduction by Lenore is, um, *hot*. Lionel/Clark, with great characterisation. I don't know why I find this pairing so hot, but I really, really do. Maybe it's the powerplay, Lionel's scheming and dominance, maybe it's the fact that it's sex for the sake of power (no love involved or lost), maybe it's that it'll never really threaten the Clex... I don't know why, but this was *good*.

Two Characters in Search of Subtext is an amusing WW Sam/Josh parody by [livejournal.com profile] michellek. Basically, in S3, Sam and Josh go looking for their subtext. It made me giggle, so I'm rec'ing it. The lines that really made me crack up?

"Or the two of us running around like we're still married," Toby said, wagging his finger between Leo and himself. "I mean, can't we take off the stupid rings already? It's not like his wife is coming back."

"Oh, and Andi's pining over you, is she?" Leo said accusingly.

Hee! Just because... Hee! In light of S4, that line is too damn funny.

There's also guest shots by the Alterniverse guys:
"We've got a lot of subtext, bitch," Jay said. "I could sell you some for twenty bucks." After a moment, he looked over to Silent Bob. "What's subtext?"

Silent Bob shrugged.

Just read the tiny text on the side of my V bottle, and thought I'd share.

"The longneck's back! The Original V bottle is back - for a good time, not a long time!"

I don't know why that amused me as much as it did. (Possibly because I've had four hours sleep and was getting through today on caffeine, and now I'm just... tired. Wanna go home and sleep. Unfortunately, I have uni tonight.)

Uni update

Just quickly updating from the uni computer labs. My train doesn't go for another half hour, so I've got time for a quick course recap.

And, just realised that most of you probably won't be interested in this, so I'll cut-tag it. In summary, this may be far better than I expected. )

Bad side to the uni computer labs. No access to hotmail. Well, on the good side, it means I won't be hanging around uni until the wee hours of the night. *g*

I'm watching Scrubs, and Dr Cox just suddenly reminded me of Casey.

"I like the gays. I like their music. I like their sense of style. I especially like what they've done with halloween."
