Still sick. Went home at 1.30pm yesterday, got home by 3pm, slept from 4-7pm, watched a couple of hours of TV, slept some more. Today's been the same mix of awake for a couple hours, asleep for a couple hours.

Am sick of being sick. Want to catch up on LJ, but I've got a major headache, so... we'll see how long I can stand it.

Had the flu shot. Got a doctors certificate. Slept for an hour to Tom Waits.

I'm gonna go figure out if there's anything worth watching on TV, and if not, go sleep some more.

I think it is important to know that it is done and I did it.

I'm sick and I can't sleep. Seriously, I can't sleep. I'm all jittery and restless, but too tired to find normal TV anything other than annoying. As always, in times of stress and irritation, I turn to my beloved fandoms. Or, to be more accurate, I grab a random tape of WW and play it.

It started at "The Short List" which made me remember why I love Josh. There is nothing more adorable than Josh high on victory. I love CJ hugging him joyously, I love Sam's "Who da man?" and the two-handed high five that Josh literally jumps while doing. (I don't even know what to call the thing where they jump at each other and bang chests, but it's immature, dorky and adorable.) I love them teasing Mrs Landringham, I love Toby's happy little chuckle and his suggestion that "on this one, we'd like to think of ourselves collectively as the men".

Mandy: You guys rock.
Sam: Oh, we really do.

...Hmmm, I forgot Sam and Josh used to stand so close together. *g*
