Am going to a passover seder this year. I'm following Celli's advice, because she said it was an interesting experience. An invite went through the queer uni group's mailing list, so I thought, "What the hell?"
Now, I just need to work out what food I'm taking.

I've decided I want to go to some of the comedy festival shows this year. Every year I say I want to go, and every year I don't get around to it. I got all enthusiastic about it last night, and then realised that I really couldn't afford to attend everything that caught my eye. So, I'm compromising. I'm going to go to two (or maybe three) of the Tightarse Tuesday shows (after class).
I'm definitely going to see Sarah Kendall, because I have a total humour crush on that girl. And maybe Maria Bamford, since she made me giggle during the gala... *shrugs*
Hey, anyone else wanna come? It'll be between $15-20 per show, so if you're interested, let me know. If not, I'll go alone and laugh like a hyena anyway. *g*

Title: Duplicity
Fandom: Sports Night/Six Feet Under
Rating: G (Surprisingly enough, Nate doesn't swear. *g*)
Disclaimer: Regardless of his many incarnations, Peter Krause is still not mine.
Notes: Fic set after the SN series finished, and before SFU began. Thanks to apathocles for beta and title. Thanks to scrunchy and laylee for supporting the idea. Thanks to oxoniensis for pointing out that I was being more neurotic than Dan and Casey combined.

With my discman, I'm writing on the train again. Yay. My homophobic fic is progressing in stops and starts, and it's going to end up another rambling oblivious-Casey fic. (I seem to have a soft spot for oblivious-Casey. He's just... adorable, even as he doesn't have a clue what's going on.)
Of course, I'd be much happier if I had an idea of where the plot is going, but I don't. I've had a couple of ideas of how the conclusion should go, but it's all overly emotional and requires a heavy set-up. When I sit down to write, the overly emotional stuff isn't coming. It's just... sniping at each or bantering.
*shrugs* I'm sure it'll figure out it's own conclusion in time. I just need to let it wander at it's own pace. (If nothing else, it's a pleasant distraction during the commute.)

Huh. One hour down, only eight hours to go (until the weekend officially starts). I've got a pile of work to do, but... yuerk. I don't want to do it.
On the other hand, I stayed up until 2am, so it's no wonder I'm less than enthusiastic today. Watched Angel, and I'm starting to wonder if the creators of that show are actually Spike/Angel 'shippers. I mean, really. *shakes head* Couldn't be much slashier. I'm secretly a Buffy/Angel shipper, so I keep freaking myself out with the spike/Angel thoughts that pop into my brain.
(I'm not so freaked out by the Fred/Eve thoughts. Pretty. And, yes, the Wes/Gunn thoughts are definitely back. *smirks* What can I say? The gay vibe on Angel is back with a vengence. Much like Bruce Willis.)

ETA:
sajee is taking my Danny and my Casey to Mexico to get them drunk (and to shout at the tourists). *giggles* I think the boys are going to have a great time.
