Watched the L-Word last night and am filled with love for the show. My favourite is the tennis player (Dana? Is her name seriously *Dana*?), but I like the others a lot too. (Don't like Jenny and don't really like the girl going after her, and sometimes I'm a little lukewarm about Tina, but generally, there's quite a few characters I love.)

I'm so disappointed there wasn't a stack of emails waiting for me this morning. On the other hand, boss is in today and I do need to work, so I can't bitch.

"Circles and Roundabouts". This may be the title for the Homophobic wip. I'm wondering if Americans use either of those terms... (With my luck, probably not. *g*) Am writing it by hand. My writing's pretty large, so it's only about 200 words a page, but the next bit is eight pages so far. (And no slash. It's just Dana and Casey, and Lisa and Casey, and... Huh. How the hell did I reduce a very slashy idea to the level of UST seen onscreen?)

SN WIP (Homophobic...)

phoebesmum pointed out that the rest of this wip isn't online, so it's kind of a tease. I wasn't sure if it was going to get finished, and it kept being... *strange*, so I didn't post it. Now, I think it's definitely going to get finished (albeit at my slowish rate).

ETA: And, is it my imagination, or is LJ as happening as a funeral parlour today? (*snorts at obligatory SFU reference*)

(no subject)

Just got in trouble from the boss. Anyone who's seen my fic output lately will know I've barely been doing anything, and probably deserved a lot worse than a couple growled comments as he left for the weekend.

An hour and a half to go. Let's see what I can get done.

New work plan:

- LJ *only* during lunch hours or before/after work. ie. Before 8.30am, or after 5.30pm.

- *No* more fic at work. None. If I want to write a drabble, it has to be done during the above LJ time. (To help me with this, I've just zipped any file notes and emailed them to myself at Hotmail, and deleted all fannish references from my computer.)

- Hotmail can be checked more often. I'll allow myself a morning tea and afternoon tea break for checking email, but I'm not allowed to reply to the LJ comments until I get home.
