Saw Troy last night.
First of all, Troy was too damn popular. We went to see the 7.30pm show, but missed a train, and got there at 7.20pm. So, we figured we'd get tickets to the 8.30pm, which was sold out. So, we went for the 7.30pm, which only had eight tickets left in the front row. Needless to say, from that angle, Brad Pitt's thighs were huge.
So, I saw it but I was so close that a lot of the battle scenes were just a blur of action to me, and I couldn't actually focus on the entire screen at one time.
Oh, and the Eric Bana issue? Not such an issue while he's putting on the pseudo-American accent. I don't think he's incredibly 'omg-hot!', but he had the best body of the three main leads, and was my favourite character in the film. (Second favourite was Odysseus, but that's not surprising. What was surprising was that he was my second-fave before I realised he was Odysseus.)
( Much random rambling about Troy. )
Still, great film. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
