I'm avoiding study. I have spent all weekend on the computer telling myself I'll start the study after I read this fic/write this pairing/reply to emails/read LJ/read this fic again.

I'm also listening to the Casey/Dana song of True Longing ("She will have her way" by Neil Finn) just because I'm listening to Neil Finn. Oddly enough, it was the first song to come on when I randomised the list.

Well, it's only another hour of procrastination, and then the Sunday movie and bed. The weekend will end with a whimper. Although, on the good side, there's an Italian film on SBS tonight that I want to tape and watch tomorrow - Death in Venice. I remember loving the book, but I don't know how well all that homoerotic longing will translate to screen.

*sigh*

So, I could study now or... I could make myself a new icon...? Yeah, that sounds like a possibility. *g*

Is that the Visconti? Dirk Bogarde's wonderful in it. Visconti never lets you forget that he's making an ART FILM in capitals, but it's a classic (probably also in capitals). And hey, it's a gay film, and there aren't enough of those around for my liking.

My weekend has vanished in sleep and hiding from reality. On reflection, those are both the same thing. Oh, and the Eurovision song contest, which was mildly amusing as ever. Weekends should be three days, so you've got one to recover from the week, one for housework and getting your washing done, and one to play. Also, then Thursday would be Friday and that'd be okay too.
