Yes, I'm going home now.
Jun. 8th, 2004 05:15 pmOkay, am behind on FList, but that will be remedied much later. Sat the exam and I'm figuring (hoping) I got about 45/70. Should be enough to pass. (Thank heavens!)
Meanwhile, lots of study makes the fic writing part of my brain go weird. I mean, mind you, it's not that I dislike the idea of a Queer Eye/SN crossover, it has a lot of potential: Dan talking to Carson about this years fashions (in women's shoes); Casey discreetly asking Kyan if it really is his hairstyle that makes him "not cool". However, the fact that the idea somehow featured a *straight* Dan, and the eventual pairing of Casey/Thom is reason for me to worry.
(Of course, the idea I had later about SN future fic, set in about eight years time, featuring straight-as-a-die-Casey was very bad. Seriously, y'all should be thankful I'm not sitting down to write Danny/Charlie as we speak. I have this deep-down feeling that I might *just* be able to make it work in that oh-so-very-wrong way. I'm blaming the entire plotbunny on
