Sep. 10th, 2003 04:32 pmI'm being lazy and avoiding work. *sigh* I have a lot to do, I just don't want to do it. It's the head in the sand mentality. (If I don't start it, it doesn't actually exist in my reality.) For some reason, this doesn't tend to work.
I have an urge for Hornblower. It's odd. I have plenty on tape (Crossing Jordan, West Wing, Spooks, Glasshouse) but I have a real urge to sit down and watch the Mutiny double episodes.
Those eps have a lot of scenes that I love such as the jumping off a cliff scene with the cute looks between Archie and Horatio and the shocked/pleased look on Horatio's face when Bush and Archie suddenly appear at the top of the stairs to help him. There's the 'hot shots' scene with Horatio blowing up his canon (I'm talking literally here, so don't be dirty minded) and Bush's snarky comment of "I call it bloody dangerous" and Archie's obvious amusement.
Oh, and there's also Archie teasing Horatio about being scared of heights, which always makes me snigger.
And then, there's the scene where Horatio realises Archie's been hurt, with Archie trying to be so very brave about it, and Horatio's horrified expression and inability to really have anything to say... *sniffles*
I *love* that scene.
Oh well. I'm stuck at work and my to do list isn't getting done by updating LJ. Still, I want my naval boys.
ETA: Totally forgot the reason I wanted to update LJ. It was to post this result.
I choose to take this as proof of my clear and concise communication skills. (And, possibly, my adoration of alliteration... *g*)
