You know what? I generally don't have too much of a problem with the age thing. I'm serious about this. Thinking about Clark and Lex? It's a good thing. The idea of pairing Connor/Wes, or Xander/Giles? Still getting the "Mmmmm..." reaction. (Be quiet, Dana.) Whereas this comment form Torch's Sickroom:

...I mean, Justin's gonna be with JC, and that's great, he's known JC for years and been in love with him since he was twelve or whatever...

Ewwwwwwww!

I really don't want to think abut 12 year old's even having a sex drive. Which, is downright hypocritical, since at 12, I was reading adult books (The Beauty series by Anne Rice/A N Roquelaire ring a bell for anyone? Just kinky porn) and well aware of what went on. Mind you, it was purely theoretical knowledge, but still, I was aware.

Of course, I've changed so much since then. I still sit around reading dirty stories, and my knowledge is still mainly theoretical! *bg*

Well, it's not like I can talk, it's almost a rule that all my pairing have freaking huge age difference and one has to be a teacher or some type of mentor figure.

Very few people realise that Gabrielle was barely 16 when a 30 year old Xena whisked her away onto adventures and loss of innocence. Which would have made her 21 at Xena's death. That doesn't stop the fic. And then there is HP and I've scarred Jay for life with that little obession.

So I'll forgive you, even if you do like Buffy ;)

Really? She was that young? I mean, I always thought she was just sheltered and niave, but probably about 25. Interesting.
