Let me sing the praises of the Way Back Machine! I've been wanting to read that Sam/Josh/Donna fic for ages, but found out months ago that it wasn't online. Then a friend mentioned something else on the Way Back Machine, so I checked it out, and there it was.

It was good, it was in-character (as much as this story idea could ever be) and I liked it a lot. It's just what I wanted after watching the Karen Cahill subplot n The Leadership Breakfast. Those three just have a great chemistry/friendship/rhythm between them.

Okay, I'm going to finish reading Sex Sells and then go to bed. It's occuring to me that I know that popslash pairings have their own names (and it's weird-ass names, not obvious stuff like Clex and Chlana), but I don't know the name for the Lance/JC pairing. Care to fill me in?

I remember reading through a background page on them (actually, highly informative, although I have no idea where I've put the link, now) and being highly surprised at the odd names.

But, since you replied, I'm also going to pick your brain regarding their ages. From youngest to eldest, it's:

Justin's the youngest
Lance is 2 years older
Joey
JC (6 months older than Joey?)
Chris is the eldest

What's the age difference between them? Yes, sparkley boys have taken over my mind. *g*

Well, JC is just so cute and pretty you just want to sit and pet him and make him purr - at least that's one explaination of 'kitten' and Lance's surname is Bass, so bass is a kind of fish and therefore Kittenfish is born. Trickyfish is Chris/Lance, because the TRICK comes from kirkpaTRICK - Chris' surname. Sometimes the pairing names are easy and kinda obivous and sometimes, well, not. *g* And I see Erilyn already gave you the answer about their ages.

Ah, it's weirdly... lateral, when you think about it. Logical, just not normal logic.

See, all I could think of was Kaneko's "JC & the fishes" icon, but that seemed a bit unlikely, as I think the pairing name's been around longer than that concert. *g*

Mind you, I'm a little OTC about JC. It's his fault. He combines two of my weaknesses, pretty, pretty boys and adorable dorks. Unfortunately, he seems to be a bit of both. *g*

Although, at least now I can start planning for a weekend of bad movies in a few months. I can wait for "View from the Top" to be released, and check out "On the Line" at the same time.
