You've raised many interesting points in your posts, but for me, comparing the two shows became difficult after the first half dozen or so eps of QaF US, because after that, they aren't the same show anymore. I think the original is better in many ways, but I like a lot about the US version (including Brian), and I don't equate the characters anymore :)
