*hugs SV* I just watched Precipice, Witness and Accelerate.
I forgot how much I love my show. Months without it, and I'd forgotten.
I love Lex, so very cool, sexy and intriguing. I love Chloe, with her spark of life, her enthusiasm and her oomph. I love Lana, gentle, uncertain and trying hard to live her life.* I love Clark, his obvious youth, his ernestness and his sweetness. I love Pete, solidly standing by as the best friend, supportive to the end. I love Lionel, his snarkiness, his mane of hair, his ambiguous fathering, and his ability to play tea party with children. I love the Kent's, the certainty, the protectiveness and the love in that household.
Man, I love my show!
* I am firmly going to stand up and say I like Lana. I don't like the way she gets treated, certainly, but I refuse to buy into this old misogynistic attitude that in order for one girl to be liked, the other must be disliked. I like Chloe and I like Lana. I don't like the way that Clark can't see that Chloe's complaints are about his attitudes and actions, not about Lana. I don't like the way that the other characters (ie the writers) treat Lana and try to force her to be perfect, but I actually like Lana herself.
Yes, I can sometimes seperate the character from the plot role they're supposed to be playing. I reserve the right to be contrary.
