out_thereHad fun with popslashers last night and ended up cursing taxis. The taxi we ordered at 11pm? Still hadn't got there at 1am. When we called them about this for the third or forth time, they said that they normally didn't service the area, and gave us the number of another taxi company. (The second taxi company still took an hour to get there. Good greif.)
I was going to take the cab all the way home, but it cost me $37 dollars to get into the city, and the taxi driver said he was off work in half an hour, and refused to take me home. Considering a cab home would be another $35 approximately, I decided to wait in the city for twenty minutes and get the Night Rider home for $6. Hence, I didn't get home until 4am, but I did get time to get McDonald's.
Okay, I'm feeling tired and a little seedy, and I'm off to read popslash.
