I most love Josh when I'm stuck on hold. Stuck in a hell world of holding.
*grrrrr* That growl goes out to all solicitors and lawyers and bank staff (well, those involved in loans) that confuse me when I have to chase up details of settlements.
*grrrrr*
"It's on the contract," says the bank person. "It needs to be changed and initialed by the clients."
"It's not on the contract," says the legal person. "The contracts been signed and returned, and it's ready for settlement."
"It should be on the contract," says the bank person, when I call her back, highly confused, at 6.30pm. "If it's been returned, it will have to be sent back to the clients for signing and initialling."
"Grrrrrrrrr!" thinks Annie, then remembers to be polite. "Well, I'm very confused. Did I get it wrong?" she asks, and waits for the bank person to say she'll contact the legal person and sort it out.
"Phew," says Annie, as she hangs up the phone, and decides to post about this on LJ.
Well, I'm going home now. Good greif, I think I've even missed the 7pm train, which means I'll be on the 7.30pm, which means I'll be home... just in time for Queer Eye. That's okay, then. *bg*
*hugs everyone* Public holidays put me in a good mood. *g*
