out_thereYou all know I'm a bit of a sucker for JC/Lance, right? Yeah, so it's no surprise that I was utterly charmed by this piece, Disarm by Jae.
It was intriguing and textured, but what I loved most was the build-up in the piece. The further I got through it, the more I waited for it to all fall apart in disaster, the more I was sure it would. But it didn't. Instead, the end was sweet and hopeful, and looking back over the fic, I could see that was what it was really building towards.

Date: 2003-11-12 06:32 pm (UTC)I also enjoyed "Lance's Girlfriend" in a painful type of way, and I wanted to read the rest of "The Bet" (Could be the wrong title. I only got to read the first section and I'm curious...and sniggering at the whole idea.)
